Pregnancy News - Dona Ana County Addresses Teen Pregnancy (KFOX 14 El Paso)

According to Silvia Sierra of the Health and Human Services department, the initiative was developed after county residents identified teen pregnancy as one of the top health-care priorities. After an intensive one-year pilot program, several communities within the county were found to have the highest teen pregnancy rates. Health care officials plan to target those areas going into homes to educate parents and their children about sex and sexually transmitted diseases.
