Sana Ali was 11 weeks pregnant when she was stabbed A student plunged a kitchen knife into the stomach of her married love rival because the victim’s pregnancy was the “final indignity”, a court has heard. Sana Ali, 17, was found dead with 42 knife wounds to her body in her bedroom in Bury, Greater Manchester. Manchester Crown Court was told how Ms Sanghera, who denies murder, killed Mrs Ali out of “jealousy and desperation”. The court heard the defendant, known as Mindy, travelled from her home up to the house her lover shared with his wife in Bury, Greater Manchester, on 11 May this year. She said she spoke to Mrs Ali then left the house - but the victim was later found dead after being stabbed 43 times in a “ferocious and sustained” knife attack. read more
