OVER 10,000 women die every year due to pregnancy-related problems, a health survey has revealed. Presenting a paper during a public debate organised by the population secretariat on Friday at Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala, Sentumbwe said it was important for men to participate in their spouses' delivery because they make decisions that influence women's health. She urged the Government to sensitise men to participate in reproductive health issues. Citing the increase in population, Sentumbwe said population explosion was a threat due to the limited infrastructure.
